About Rcado

Rcado is a marketplace for RC gear in the German-speaking countries. Anyone looking for an item should see in one place what it costs new from retailers, what is currently offered used and what it actually sells for used. Until now, this has been scattered across classifieds sites, forums and groups.

Who’s behind it

Rcado is run by Julien Lieske, as an individual and as a side project. Full details are in the legal notice. Because it’s a small niche, you’ll get an answer from a human rather than a call centre: write to us.

What we do differently

One page per product, real used prices, a theft register and contact only through the platform - all explained in detail under Why Rcado, together with a letter on why Rcado exists.

How Rcado is funded

• Everything stays free for private users.
• Specialist retailers add their offers via a product feed. This is free during the launch phase. After that a monthly subscription is planned; every retailer will be told at least 30 days in advance. Retailer ads are labelled as “Ad”.
• We take no commission on sales and don’t process payments.

What matters to us

• Used prices only appear when there are enough real sales. We don’t make up numbers.
• Commercial offers are always labelled as such.
• If something isn’t right, report it. Every report is reviewed.
